I have tried put the Kona 3 card in slot 3, it make the OS acting slow, and final cut wouldn't load and said that the system doesn't have valid RT card. So I put it back in slot 2. I have contact AJA technical support last week, but as I'm in Asia pacific, it's not possible to call, so I email them, they replied me with one suggestion at a time.
AJA so far made the recommedation on the slot config but we e-mailed them last night about our recent test and waiting for a reply. My New System is: MAC PRO 2.66 Dual Intel 2gigs O/S10.4.8 FCP 5.1.2 QT 7.1.3 KONA 3 vs3.3 drivers Everything is updated and current.
